Yong Park, DDS

Dr. Yong Park graduated from Loma Linda, University of CA, in 2001. With enthusiasm and growth of his skills, Dr. Park started practicing right away and opened Federal Way Dental in 2002. The demands of his loving patients grew daily, so he extended his service to more locations in Washington state. By 2015, he was seeing patients from 5 locations.

Dr. Park doesn’t seek the convenience of his own. Patients are the only ones that matter, not otherwise around.

With more than 10 highly educated doctors and more than 30 fully trained staff members from all locations, Dr. Park is the leader of our excellent dental team.

Eric Park, DMD

Dr. Eric Park is a Fellow International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration (AO), and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and researched at the College of Medicine and the Dows Institute for Dental Research. As Dr. Park is an implant specialist, he is in high demand and is only available a few days each month at our Newport office.

The surgical aspects of medicine became a life avocation and he found his passion for implantology in dentistry. He has completed post-graduate training at St. Joseph Hospital, Hallym Medical University for Oral & Maxillofacial Implantology, Misch International Implant Institute, Dental implant Institute of Las Vegas, Dawson Center, NYU, Medical College of Georgia, UCLA, USC, University of Berne, and many other implant-related courses to improve and focus his knowledge and skills.

Dr. Park is currently a clinical faculty member of UCLA, as well as BU and Harvard University, is part of the Periodontology Department at University Colombia as visiting faculty, and participates as the US Director of Boston Association of Osseointegration (BAO).

Hyuk Yang, DDS

Dr. Hyuk Yang graduated from U.C.L.A. in 2004 and continued his residency with outstanding years of advanced education in general dentistry. He strives to continue his education in the fast-growing field of modern dentistry while keeping his great passion for dental work. Through the intense courses of sinus lift and bone augmentation, oral implantology, Invisalign®, and laser treatment, Dr. Yang became strongly proficient in wide areas of dentistry.

Outside of the clinic, he loves to golf, camp, or simply have good food and time with his friends and family. He is a dentist with a warm heart who knows how to treat his patients with a caring mind.

Youngtak Chi, DDS

Dr.Youngtak Chi majored in Economics and Biology at the University of Michigan and has DDS in NYU College of Dentistry. He is a current member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, American Dental Education Association and Korean American Dental Association. After practicing general dentistry in Illinois for few years, he joined Washington dental group in 2017 at Federal Way location. Dr.Chi met his wife in dental school and graduated together. Now they live with their beloved daughter and a very cheerful dog. His family moved to Washington State in late 2016. With dignity and respect, Dr.chi emphasizes in treating patients like his own family. Since the graduation, he passionately tries to improve with continuing education for his professional and personal enrichment.

Julie Hong, DDS

Dr. Julie Hong graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and joined our Everett practice in 2002. She strives to provide patient-friendly dentistry that combines youthful appearances, aesthetics, and a devotion to comprehensive dental health. Dr. Hong has been in practice with an emphasis on natural tooth preservation and oral health for more than 15 years and has been an auxiliary staff at University of Washington School of Dentistry.

When not helping patients, Dr. Hong is an avid skier who also loves to spend time with her three children and her husband, traveling and pottery making.

Peter Lee, DDS

Dr. Peter Lee graduated with an undergraduate business degree from UCLA. After graduation, he attended UCLA School of Dentistry and found a great interest in orthodontics, leading him to pursue the orthodontic residency. Dr. Lee also has a master’s degree in oral biology and continues to expand his education in the broad field of dentistry whenever he can. He believes in the importance keeping up with the modern technology and knowledge of dentistry. Dr. Lee works at our Newport, Lynnwood, and University Place offices.

Dr. Lee is a member of American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. He practices both in California and Washington to fulfill his patients’ need and satisfaction. He finds a great joy in helping his patients achieve the bright smiles they have always wanted.
